The main suspect in the murder of Manchester businessman Trevor Meikle is now in police custody.
The man identified as Steve Edwards, who was accompanied by his attorney, surrendered to the police on Monday evening.
The Islington, St Mary resident is to face an identification this week, along with his brother who is in custody.
The popular businessman was murdered during the widespread power outage on Sunday, April 17. Meikle, 76, was killed after 9:00 pm when he dropped off his daughter — who was coming from the airport — at her home on Battersea Drive in Mandeville.
He and his wife were robbed of items including cash, jewellery, a mobile phone, and debit and credit cards.
