One of the main suspects in the quadruple murder in Claremont, St Elizabeth last month is now in police custody.

Head of the St Elizabeth police Lansford Salmon while not divulging the suspect’s name says he is to undergo an interrogation after which it is expected that he will be charged.

Superintendent Salmon says the appeal is still out for the other suspect to turn himself in.The police had named Anward Anthony Hinds, otherwise called ‘Kirky’ or ‘Kirk Hinds’ and Denham Campbell also known as ‘Popsie’ as the prime suspects in the quadruple murder.

Those killed have been identified as 73-year-old Ezra Wright, 60-year-old Archibald Brown, his brother 58-year-old George Brown and 50-year-old Morris Sanderson.
