Reggae and Dancehall artist Teflon says it is time to take a stance and clean up the music.

He recently released a single titled ‘Legacy’ in which he tackles the problems facing the music and the industry at large.

“It’s time for us to take a stand to nurture the music. We have to stand on our feet and defend the music because a lot of persons benefit from music in general,” Teflon told The Star.

“This has been going on for a long time so I will never embrace it. I have three daughters so I have to be a responsible parent as well. We as entertainers who sing negative music need to come together and show the people that this is music and it’s for fun. We don’t need to be at war because if we war, the people who are listening will be influenced by the negatives,” he adds

Teflon recently released songs such as No Regrets, When You Bless and Goiter.
