United States law enforcement officials have now joined local investigators to assist with the investigations into the circumstances that led to the death of two American missionaries who were killed last weekend in St Mary.
The investigators from the United States met with local sleuths on Wednesday to discuss the case, and have since committed to supporting the probe.
Randy Hentzel, 48-years-old and 53-year-old Harold Nichols, American citizens who were living in St Mary, were found dead between April 30 and May 1. Both men were imparting religious teaching and doing social work while living in Jamaica.
No motive has so far been established for the killings.
Autopsies performed on the bodies of the two men revealed that they died from gunshot and chop wounds.
