Busy Signal touched down in the United States last week for the first time in 15 years as a free man. The last time Busy Signal was in the U.S., he was in handcuff and branded as a criminal for a drug charge dated a decade back. The dancehall artist was a fugitive for a decade before getting arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston in 2012.
Getting back his visa could not have come at a better time for the “have you ever been to jail before” deejay. According to Dancehallhiphiphop, sources inside the Turf camp revealed that Busy Signal is the most sought after dancehall artiste in the U.S and Europe right now.
Accordingly, sources also revealed that he has “upcoming tour dates in Germany, Sweden, and Italy have already sold out and we are thinking about adding more dates.”
The Turf camp also said that they are planning a major North American tour this year.
