Kingston, Jamaica — A number of popular entertainers and a host of fans turned out to the launch of Spice’s bar/lounge, “8 Ball” last week Friday night.
The launch which was originally scheduled to take place two weeks ago had been postponed as a result of the persistent rains and took place at its swanky location at the Bayside Plaza, above Genus Pharmacy, Portmore.
Among those in attendance were Bounty Killer, Future Fambo, Flexx, Bling Dawg, Bridgez, Keiva, Psycho Tan Bad, Pamputtae, Chuck Fender, Duwayne Stephenson, New Kidz, Baby Tash, Swizzle Body Girls, television host, Amita and more; while fans and patrons flooded the lounge’s outside passageway partying with some of their favourite entertainers.
Spice, whose correct name is Grace Hamilton says, “I was really happy and thankful for all the support I received and all the artistes, fans, family and friends who came out thank you all so much.”
Spice also said ‘8 Ball’ will be catering to a younger audience. “It’s for young people like myself who want somewhere free to go and lyme and play pool, party at the club in the back and have fun. In Portmore there’s barely anything to do, you always find yourself goung to Kingston just for a lyme, so we are gonna be having quite a few promotions there to make sure Friday night is a lot of fun for everyone.”
Following the party, Spice travelled to Ocho Rios on Saturday for the Ochi Invasion concert which also featured Mavado, Stacious, ZJ Ice and others.
