West Indies Spinner Sunil Narine is the only West Indian ranked in the top 10 of the MRF Tyres ICC Player Rankings for One Day International bowlers.
Trent Boult of New Zealand leads the ranking followed by Australian pacer Mitchel Starc and South African spinner Imran Tahir.
Narine is rank at number 4 with Josh Hazlewood completing the top 5 while Jason Holder is the next highest West Indian at 16.
In the batting rankings, Marlon Samuels at 27 is the best placed West Indian.
Australian vice-captain David Warner meanwhile took over as world number one and now holds a 19 point lead over AB de Villiers.
The other spots in the top 5 are occupied by Virat Kohli, Quinton de Kock and Kane Williamson.
