Hers was an unprecedented sound, honed in collaboration with the renowned ‘Now Generation Band’ and legendary producer, Harry ‘Harry J’ Johnson. In 1972 she served us her version of “Breakfast In Bed,” which propelled her to becoming the first female artiste to top the singles chart in Jamaica for five consecutive weeks. Today, four decades after the release of her debut album “This Is Lorna,” we celebrate the life and legacy of Reggae icon Lorna Bennett.
